The SPAARK Method: Resume Writing Course
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and co-designer of the SPAARK Method course, I collaborated with my teammate to create an engaging, actionable program tailored for professionals seeking to pivot their careers but struggling to secure interviews. Drawing from my firsthand experience successfully landing multiple interviews during my own career transitions, I provided practical insights into crafting compelling resumes that resonate with hiring managers.
In addition to developing course content, I designed a detailed resume evaluation rubric to empower learners to assess their progress and ensure their resumes meet high standards. This rubric served as a critical tool for guiding participants in identifying and addressing gaps, optimizing their documents, and presenting their unique value effectively.
Our course equips learners with the skills and confidence needed to translate their experiences into opportunities, bridging the gap between where they are and where they aspire to be in their careers.

Effective Communication & Conflict Resolution Course
As the sole designer, developer, and implementer of the Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution course, I took a comprehensive approach to address the communication challenges faced by professionals in the workplace. Using detailed stakeholder and Subject Matter Expert (SME) insights about the company, I defined clear goals and objectives to ensure the course was aligned with organizational needs and learner outcomes.
The course featured a dynamic Articulate Rise module with rich, interactive content that covered:
-
Best practices for effective communication in professional settings.
-
Strategies for preventing conflict through proactive, clear communication.
-
Techniques for resolving conflicts constructively and maintaining positive relationships.
To bridge theory and practice, I also created an engaging simulation within Articulate Rise that placed learners in real-world decision-making scenarios. These simulations allowed participants to experience how communication choices directly impact conflict resolution, empowering them to apply these skills in their roles confidently.
This course exemplifies my ability to independently manage the end-to-end design process, from defining objectives to delivering impactful learning experiences, while leveraging cutting-edge eLearning tools to enhance engagement and retention.
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise 360, Canva, Miro
Highlights: By blending instructional content with immersive, scenario-based learning, the course provided learners with a safe environment to apply concepts and refine their skills. The result was a practical, outcomes-focused program designed to improve workplace communication, strengthen collaboration, and reduce conflict.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Course
I independently designed and developed a comprehensive Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) course, aligning with organizational goals and learner needs through stakeholder collaboration. By engaging stakeholders, I identified clear objectives to ensure the course would effectively educate and empower learners while fostering a more inclusive workplace culture.
To achieve these objectives, I carefully selected the appropriate tools and methods, creating an engaging, multi-faceted learning experience that included:
-
Core Content with Knowledge Checks: Detailed modules on the principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, each paired with interactive knowledge checks to reinforce understanding.
-
Scenario-Based Simulation Game: A dynamic, interactive game where learners assess workplace scenarios to identify whether questions or comments align with DEIA best practices. This simulation encouraged critical thinking and practical application of the concepts taught in the course.
After receiving stakeholder approval for the course design, I integrated the simulation to provide learners with real-world practice in fostering inclusive communication. The course equips participants with the skills to recognize and adopt DEIA-friendly behaviors, contributing to a more equitable and accessible organizational environment.
This project highlights my ability to manage the end-to-end instructional design process, from stakeholder engagement to implementing innovative learning solutions that drive impactful outcomes.
