About Me
Teaching has always been my passion! I have enjoyed creating learning experiences for people of all ages. I have been working in the learning and development field since 2017, as an educator, trainer, instructional designer, and curriculum developer. Turning my traditional, hands-on instructional materials into digital materials was something I had to adapt to once the global Covid-19 pandemic hit our nation in 2019-2020. Although I had already created digital experiences for nonverbal and verbal students who needed versatile learning experiences to truly engage with prior to the pandemic, the pandemic created a space where I truly had to learn learning management systems and interactive applications to create and implement engaging learning experiences for virtual learners to truly understand and enjoy learning! This was a blessing in disguise, because this is when I realized just how much I enjoyed using my creativity for the good of others (instructional design)! Although I have spent majority of my instructional designing experiences on creating materials for students, I have mastered the art of determining and analyzing learning objectives and outcomes and creating trainings and materials to meet those objectives. My philosophy of adult education is to equip learners with practical knowledge and problem solving skills that they can use in their personal and/or professional lives. I have always incorporated and believed in engaging learners through each and every lesson, and encourage others to do the same.
